These were my keepers from the parade. The crowd was once again very dissapointing. I do not think I am going to pull off that awesome crowd participation shot for this assignment. This event actually happened after the All Star Basketball game. It just had not finished downloading when I got this one posted.
You focused on the crowd a lot more than on the people there experiencing the parade. There weren't a lot out there, but there were a few kids and crazy senior citizens "all greened up" and cheering on the parade participants. This is one of the funner parades we have in Coeur d'Alene where people go all out with their costumes. You got a few of those green people in the shots, there's not a lot to pick up if people were having fun or not.
ReplyDeleteSometimes the crowds can be pretty tame at these. But that's where you have to walk the parade route and look for the people that are reacting to what the parade is supposed to bring out in people.
The shot of the kid and I'm guessing his dad on the ATV come close to highlighting people take the effort to put on some goofy green stuff to celebrate St. Paddy's Day in a parade.
